Bassano’s dream goes on! Following its series victory over Mantova in the quarter finals, it took the first game of the semi final 3-1 against Latina in front of 1800 fans. This was the 8th win in the last 9 games for Cretu’s team and most importantly one that guarantees at least the possibility to play a decider at home. Indeed, Bassano has now two games to get the win they need to go to the final. The first will be in Latina on Wednesday and the second, if needed, back in Bassano.
The perfect title for an unforgetable night is “Bassano blocks Latina” because the most impressive data was indeed the number of blocks realised by the home team: no less than 16 while Latina could only manage 5. Guarise and Gitto were key with 4 and 6 blocks respectively.
