In 2002-2003, he played against Macerata as an opponent already six times (regular season plus playoffs) as he had been sent on loan to Latina for a year. But this time round it will all be different for middleblocker Geric. Not only because he played five more years with Macerata, five years filled with successes, but also because he will be forced to watch on because of an injury.
