The European Champs finalised their second signing of the off-season. Indeed, Francesco Corsini signed a two-year deal. Born in Città di Castello, near Perugia, in 1979, he came up in the youth department of San Giustino and Forli. The middleblocker then played for many years in the A2, at Forli, Santa Croce, Ancona, Spoleto and Catania but also had experiences in the A1, as he played for Martina franca last season.
“I’m living a dream – said Corsini – because I really didn’t expect Trentino Volley to call me. I was obviously pleased, this is one of the best clubs in Italy and in Europe”.
