Luca Monti’s boys got off to an excellent start in the 2009-10 season with a home win over Isernia. The level of play was not exceptional, probably due to the emotions of the first game of the season, but it will surely get better and better as the players settle in round after round.
“We were a bit tense at the beginning – said sport director Rota – But we psychologically controlled the game in the end. We built our success on the serve and if we manage to keep serving like this, we will cause problems to any team. We might not have seen the level of play expected of this division but behind a game, there are dynamics that people who don’t live them can hardly understand. Anyway, what matters, has mattered and will always matter first is the result”.
