On Sunday, Padova plays host to Gioia del Colle at the PalaAli. Both teams are tied with five points in the league table, as Gioia had a difficult start to the season.
“Gioia struggled at the beginning of recent championships too – explained middleblocker Manuele Cricca – but it was always amongst the best organised team. When a setter like De Giorgi starts to find his rhythm with his teammates, Gioia becomes a good team. Having said that, we are ready to face anyone”.
