The dream goes on and it has now reach its last step, the most expected one. Trentino swept the Iranian team of Teheran 3-0 in the semi final of the Club World Championship taking place in Doha, Qatar, and will meet the Polish side of PGE Skra Belchatow for the title game. The Polish team knocked out Kazan in the semi final 3-1.

“We are happy, to make it to the final of the Club World Championship is extraordinary but we obviously don’t want to stop here – said coach Radostin Stoytchev – Belchatow fully deserved to play in the final as it overcame Zenit, they will go all out tomorrow night, just like us, and our game will be based on character and determination more than just tactic. Indeed, we don’t have the time to prepare properly this final as we would like to, so the strength of the group will be key. Tonight against Paykan we did well the things we had prepared, we made very few mistakes, we did not force the issue but controlled the game with composure. To do so in such an important game, no matter how strong is the opponent, is a sign of great maturity”.

Sunday’s final against Belchatow will be the fourth for Trentino in the last two years and a half. It is scheduled at 6pm Italian time (8pm local time).
