While Cuneo managed to stay in the series by reducing the gap to 2-1, three other teams will have a chance to qualify for the semi final on Thursday night: Macerata, Trentino and Piacenza.
Following its fourth place in the Champions League, Macerata plays host to Treviso, who hopes the disappointment of the European defeat will have an effect of which they could take advantage. Martin Lebl will be back from his ankly injury.
In Trento, the recently crowned European champs will try to seal the series against Vibo Valentia. The momentum gathered with the success in Prague could be key.
In its PalaEvangelisti, Perugia can’t afford to lose anymore against Piacenza, who leads the series 2-0. Damiano Pippi is unlikely to take part.
FORMULA PLAY OFF – The quarter finals, semis and final will be played on the best of five games. The best classified team at the end of the regular season will host the first, third and possible fifth game.
