Macerata and Trento wants the Final four
The quarter finals of the Champions League will start on Wednesday night for the Italians with Macerata hosting the European champions Kazan (live on Sportitalia) and Trento travelling to Poland and Czestochowa, who had knocked out Piacenza in the previous round. In this latest encounter, there will be a few ‘ex’ from the Italian league: the Bulgarian Smilen Slyakov, who won the league last year, Andrey Stelmach (Padova, Cuneo, ferrara), Wigniew Bartman ( Verona), Michal Winairaski and Lukasz Zygadlo.
The return games will be on Wedensday 11 and Thursday 12 march. If two teams were to be tied in terms of set won, then a Golden set (15 points) would decide who goes through to the Final Four in Praga.
