It’s time for the final of the Tim Cup A2, which is inserted for the first time in history as part of the Volley Land event. This is an unprecedented final with two newcomers at this stage of the competition: Gioia del Colle and Latina. A tight encounter is expected, all the more so given the two meetings of the league, both ending at the tie-break with one win each. On route to the final, Gioia had a slightly more difficult task going to the Golden Set against Loreto in the quarters and the semis have not been any easier against Rome. It will certainly not be easy, but no games are at this point of the season, especially against strong teams like Gioia del Colle. But we’re close to one of our first target now. Then, we’ll have to put our mind set back on the league because we want to fight all the way there too”.
