ANDREOLI LATINA – CODYECO SANTA CROCE

Past encounters: 5 (3-2 Latina).

League macth: Andreoli Latina – Codyeco Santa Croce 2-3 (22-25; 16-25; 25-23; 25-23; 11-15)

Simone Rosalba (Andreoli Latina): “It will be a tough game, because Santa Croce is the team that impressed me the most since the beginning of the championship. They’ve been playing well from the start even if on Sunday they had a bad day. Let’s say they had a rest to be ready for the game against us. That’s why I’m expecting a very difficult game. We’re mentally fine, even though we’re a bit tired. We had hardly finished our marathon against Gioia del Colle that we were already on the road. Anyway, games like tomorrow’s are always special. I think whoever will go on court, me or any of my teammates, we’ll give our best, forgetting about tired legs and other physical worries”.

Giandomenico Dal (Codyeco Santa Croce): “It will be an especially tough game. We did not play too well in January, losing three games. It will be an important game, a difficult semi final against Latina, a team that is clearly on the up and who has extremely experienced players. It’s only logical that they are now the league leaders. We did to have the right determination and if we do we could do well. We’ll decide the line up at the last minute as we have everybody fit”.

NAVA GIOIA DEL COLLE –  M. ROMA VOLLEY

Past encounters: 1 (Gioia del Colle won it).

League match: M. Roma Volley – Nava Gioia del Colle 2-3 (25-17; 23-25; 15-25; 25-22; 11-15)

Michele De Giorgi (Nava Gioia del Colle): “We’re very excited to have reached Mantova. It’s a great result for the club, in its first season in the Serie A. We’ll try to give our best against Rome, a team that got here through the Golden Set, just like we did. We’ve already defeated Rome this year, btu tomorrow’s will be a different game, definitely more difficult and open because we all know that anything can happen in one single game”.

Matteo Tabanelli (M. Roma Volley): “In an in-or-out game, anything can happen. The league table might give good indications on who should be in the final, nothing can be taken for granted.  A bad day, a poor game, it can happen to anyone, especially to the great teams. Gioia del Colle is a well-balanced team, well-organised on court, with a couple of great players: Diogo and Dias, and with the excellent setter who’s brother we know well”.
