All group winners in Champions League

Treviso goes through to the challenge cup quarter final

Great performances from the Italian teams involved in European Cups: Three victory out of three in the Champions League, meaning all the teams finished top of their respective group.

Piacenza had the better of Paris 3-1, with all the spikers divided equally the points. It went well for Macerata too, 3-1 winners of Red Star Belgrade. At the same time, in Spain, Roeselare had lost against Maiorca, meaning the Italian took first place.

Trentino continued to impress in its first time in the Champions League with a 3-1 victory over Bled.

Some good news came as well from the Challenge Cup, with Treviso going through to the quarter finals thanks to a straight set win over Lokomotiv Kharkiy. Papi and co will face in the next round the Polish team of Jastrzebski Wegiel, coached by Italian Roberto Santilli.
