SPECIAL EUROPEAN CUPS

Cuneo the first to play on Tuesday

On Tuesday night at 7, Cuneo will be the first Italian to play in Europe as it travels to Montenegro and Rivijera Budva for the Cev Cup quarter final second leg. One set will be enough to go through as it won the first leg 3-0.

All the others will play on Wednesday night, facing the last round of the Champions League group phase. The top two of each group as well as the 4 best thirds will go through to the 8th of final.

In group C, Macerata will try to bounce back following their defeat against Roeselare which cost them the first place. This should be possible as it faces the Serbian team of Red Star Belgrade, last in the group. Macerata will hope for Roeselare to lose at least a set against Mariorca. The game will be live on SportItalia at 8.30pm.

Piacenza is already qualified for the 8th of final but a win against Paris would guarantee the first place (live on SportItalia 24 at 6pm).

Trentino, who’s already secured top spot, will try to remain unbeaten against the Slovenian of ACH Volley Bled, while Treviso will play its return leg of the Challenge cup at 9pm with a 3-0 advantage from the first encounter.
