The Under16 team obtained an extraordinary gold medal at the tricolour Games. They defeated the Croatian team of Zadar in the final, as Massimo Dagioni watched on. The team coached by Adriano Redaelli an d Erica Davoli won 25-20, 25-19 and 25-16.
