It is obvious that there is a bit of disappointment following final game 3’s defeat, which let Latina go in the A1. However, the Argentinian coach, Cannestracci, wanted to say how satisified he was of his boys and this amazing season that nobody expected.
“Saturday’s game is not the one I expected and that I had prepared – said Cannestracci – We were aware of the difficulty linked to the atmosphere and the fact that Latina had reached its pick but I didn’t think we would have lost this way. Our fans and us are certainly disappointed, without any doubt, but this rather poor performance should not cancel out all the team has done beforehand. It played to near-perfection almost all season despite the many problems we faced. It’s already been a great result to have reached the final and game 3 against such a great team. Nobody expected us to get there”.
