The beginning of 2009 was definitely not one to remember for Cavriago, who started the new year with three consecutive losses (Away at Roma and Latina and the 361 home defeat against Crema). The team stands now in the danger zone, last from bottom with 16 points.

“It’s undeniable that we’re going through a bad spell – explained sport director Buglione – because once we recovered from all the injuries we suffered in November and December we should have done more. I was expecting a lot more than just one set in the last three games. There are no excuses”.

He certainly did not think to stand that low in the table at this point of the season “We have had much luck, it’s true, but it’s useless to think at what could have been. The only certainty is that the team is made of 12 players that has everything it takes to get some positive results and that’s what I’m expecting from them”.
