In game 1 of the playoff quarter finals, Bassano did not disappoint the many fans that came to the gym. It beat Mantova 3-1 and went 1-0 up in the series. It’s definitely been a much different game than last Saturday’s, when Mantova had surrendered without even trying. This time, they took the first set but Guarise and co reacted like champions with authority. Frantisek Oguarcak shined with 21 points and 66% in attack. Bassano will now have two possibilities to seal the series: the first in Mantova on Sunday and the second at home on Wednesday 22 if needed.
