Bassano’s last outing had been a convincing home win against Mantova, but this weekend it crashed against Padova in the first ever derby between the two teams. It was the typical day in which nothing goes for you for Cretu’s team, which challenge only lasted one set. A bad day can happen to anyone, the only worrying thing might be the facility with which they put their heads down. As for Padova, De Marchi was the stand out man of the match. He literally won the first set single handedly. Bassano’s next encounter will be in Bologna, currently third in the table.
