After the addition of libero Exiga, middleblocker Simone Buti and the extension of middleblocker Forni, Montichiari brought in another important player for its squad 2009-10: Andrea Semenzato. Born in 1981, 208cm tall, he played last season at Verona, where he had an excellent season.
“The league had hardly finished that Montichiari inquired about me – said Andrea – I have to say that I left a piece of my heart in Verona because I spent many years there but I am very excited about this new challenge”.
