In spite of an excellent volleyball that surely satisfied the crowd, Sora was disappointed to finish on the losing end of a tie-break against Ravenna.
“We knew it was going to be a tough game –said middleblocker Andrea D’avanzo, who scored 17 points of which 4 blocks – We were well balanced, we took 4-5 point advantages but they always caught us back. They never gave up. Then, we stepped up a gear, and started to control the game but in the end one moment had a big influence. I don’t like to talk about the referees but at the end of the day, it’s been one of their decisions, a point given to them, that allowed them to escape on the scoreboard, and which got us nervous. Still, we tried our best to come back, we really wanted to win”.
