“It could have gone worse in my opinion – said the outside hitter Stafano Moro after the Latina game – I’m talking seriously, we played against a team that lines up a player of two categories above and another one that has always done well in A1. In the post game interview, I said I’d have given the MVP title to Rosalba instead of Giombini. Simone was unbelievable in the clutch time, scoring crucial points. We did a great job to stay in the game right till the end, having an excellent performance. The game was decided on a couple of balls. This is one more defeat but I believe that we saw a team with a different approach and a will to fight and I think this is the way to go for the future encounters”.
Diagoni’s men will now play the next two game at home, first against Loreto on Sunday 9th, and then against Goia del Colle on Wednesday 12th.
