Another tie-break win came along for Isernia following the one over Bassano. For its league debut on Isernia’s bench, Marco Fenoglio got off to a winning start with a win obtained with character.
“I’m here to define the tactic and technique, but if the team takes my character too, I definitely won’t mind” said the coach.
“We showed great character – confirmed middleblocker Avanzo – especially when we were left without Peralta, who is extremely important for us at the net, but in the end we managed to pull together and impose our game”.
