Loreto Volleyball Club would like to communicate the purchase of the German diagonal player Georg Grozer Jr, son of Mr Grozer Sr, once a great player in the German national team.
In the last season Georg played for Moerser SC in hte Bundesliga, team coached by his father and they got to the playoffs semifinals which they lost at match 3 against SCC Berlin.
Born in 1984, Georg Grozer was the second top scorer of the whole post season in this year’s Bundesliga, with the highest amount of aces, considering all the matches played from the quarterfinals to the final, with 108 points scored (84 in attack with 51.53% positivity, 7 blocks and 17 aces) in 8 matches played with 4.91 points per set on average out of the 22 played in total.
In the last season he closed in second place the top scorers standings (reg. season) with 350 points in 22 matches with on average 6.03 points per set.
This will be his first experience in Italy and he will have the hard task to replace Christian Dunnes who had surgery done to his right shoulder this morning.
