The Serbian spiker Goran Maric commented Verona’s last game against Tonno Callipo: “It was a really difficult game, credit to us for getting the points and reacting after the Perugia defeat. I think we had the right attitude fighting right till the end, this is what we need in our race to stay up and I think we made one more step forward on Sunday.
This Sunday, Verona will play host to Pineto. “Another tough one ahead, Pineto is playing very well. It won some important games, away from home too. They have a great setter and can play excellent volleyball”.
Meanwhile, Verona had a joint-training sessions with Padova today.
