The final phase of the Tim Under 18 national championship comes to an end. The title goes to Sisley Treviso who dfeated M. Roma Volley for 3-1 in the final this evening in san Lazzaro Di Savena (BO).

A match on the edge until the very end because the Romans showed attitude and determination against the boys from Veneto who started  the match in the best possible way.

In the first match the decisive break came half way through the set with Beretta’s block which takes Sisley to 19-16, advantage kept until the end. In the second set, the break arrives after a few exchanges. Vedovotto spikes for the

7-5 and he also puts down the ball on 13-10. Everything seems written already even though Roma’s reaction comes at the end going on 23-23 with Campanini but then letting go with the set closed by Beretta’s block.

half way through the third set, it all seemed to be over. Santin, diagonal player from Treviso, spikes the 19-17. 6 points from the victory for Sisley, but that is when the Romans’ determination comes out. Rossi takes them on 20-20 then they go on 21-23. Roma wins for 24-26.

Here’s the fourth set. Sisley seems to suffer what happened, while Roma plays having to win. They put down 4 consecutive points (0-4) but Treviso smells the title. Vedovotto signs their first advantage on 9-8. It is head to head up to 19-19, when Treviso starts dominating and wins for 25-21 winning the title.

The TIM Under 18 national title goes to join the other two junior ones conquered by Treviso this season: the TIM Junior League and the TIM Boy League.
