Safety challenge between Bassano and Spoleto

On Sunday the 13th, Serie A2 TIM will go on court for the 16th round, the second one of the second leg. Seven the matches on schedule at 18.00, all to be followed live on streaming on legavolley.it with the 8th appointment of “Volley Time Web Radio”.

Important matches, like the one in Loreto where Marmi Lanza Verona, still without Janic,  is coming to chellenge Esse-ti Carilo Loreto.

Moretti’s men, on the other hand, after a period of fog at the end of the first leg, have been able to come back and on sunday they will try to win their 4th consecutive match.

Another important match, but this time in the low part of the standings between Fiorese Spa Bassano and Monini Marconi Spoleto. Spoleto, after scaring Verona and Vibo Valentia, are eager to continue their rush towards safety; they will try and do that facing the 6th before last, virtually the first team not in the demotion zone.

Premier Hotels Crema – Stilcasa Salento d’amare Taviano, will put together two teams 6 points away from each other. Both defeated in the previous round, the code word will be “Revenge”.

To be followed the challenge between the teams bombers: Cazzaniga and Chocholak.

Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia will try another victory and to take over the current leader Verona. After 10 successes, the next hurdle is called Tiscali Cagliari who only won once in the past six rounds.

The SP TTTLines Catania and Framasil Cucine Pineto challenge is to be followed too. In the last matches Hugo Conte’s men are struggling more than expected; on sunday Quiroga will be absent, away with his national team, but revenge seems to prevail also on the other players’ physical problems. Pineto, on the other side, has proven to be more alive than ever. The rush towards safety has started but they will need a series of positive results in the remaining 14 matches.

Home match for Raccorderie Metalliche Mantova against Materdomini Volley.it Castellana Grotte. The home team is still without Matti Hietanen, Certainly not good news for coach Guaresi because his absence has always meant a defeat so far.

Castellana Grotte will count on the due Pascual-Monteiro again, which guaratees quality and most of all points.

Mare&Volley Forlì – Divani&Divani Avellino closes the matches on schedule for 18.00. In the first leg it ended with a 0-3 for Forli who are now struggling more than expected in front of their supporters: 5 defeats a t PalaFiera so far.

Avellino had the luxury to stop a big one like Catania in the last round, winning 3-2 with Kirchhein scoring 36 points in 5 sets.

At 20.30 the programme will be closed by the challenge between Codyeco Santa Croce and Olio Pignatelli Isernia live on SNAI Sat. Important absences for both teams.

S. Croce will play without diagonal player Sandro Fabbiani, back in february, and Josè Subiela, currently in Turkey with the Spanish team. For the same reason Isernia will be without Finnish libero Tapio Kangasniemi but young Spampinato is ready not to have him missed.
