The Indesit Champions League will close the first phase. All the attention will be on Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo (Poola A) who is hosting Czeck Jihostroj Ceske Budejovice. The situation is not simple, there are only two certainties: the French team (Cannes) is already qualified and their Italian opponents are already out.
Prandi’s men will have to check on what Iraklis Salonikko (with the same amount of points) is doing in France. Cuneo will be certain of going through if they win 3-0. In case both teams will win or lose, the sets won or lost will make the difference: at the moment, Cuneo is 1.250 and Iraklis on 1.125. In case of a further standoff, points will be counted.
The match will be broadcasted live on SKY Sport Extra at 20.30.
In Pool D, Copra Nordmeccanica Piacenza will play for first place against Portol Palma Mallorca. At the moments both teams are at the top together with 9 points and certain of going through. The highlights of the match will be broadcasted on SKY Sport 2 on friday the 1st of march from 16:00 to 17:00.
For Sisley Treviso a match in the Netherlands against Piet Zoomer Aleldoorn without Alberto Cisolla and Stefan Hubner. For the Italian Champions the access to the next phase is certain.
