EUROPEAN CUPS 2008/2009
THE CEV ESTABLISHES THE CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
The Cev has communicated to Fipav and the Volleyball League today the criteria for selection for the European Cups 2008/09. For the men’s competition it will be as follow:
INDESIT EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2008/09
1) Club winner of the championship 2007/08
2) Club winner of the TIM Cup 2007/08
3) CLub loser of the championship play off final 2007/08
If the right number 1,2 or 3 should be assigned to the same Club, the Club second in the 2007/08 Regular Season’s standings will be assigned the place.
CEV CUP 2008/09
One place which will be assigned to the teams better qualified in the 2007/08 Regual Season with the exclusion of the Clubs that have already gained a place in the Indesit Champions League.
CHALLENGE CUP 2008/09
One place which will be assigned to the team better qualified in the 2007/08 Regular Season with the exclusion of the Clubs that have already gained a place in the Indesit Champions League and the Cev Cup.
