There is a new Italian Champiosn and it is Itas Diatec Trentino. The yellow&Blue formation crown their dream confirming once again that PalaTrento is their home. It is a great success which moved over 4.000 spectators.
Apart from the beginning when Copra Nordmeccanica Piacenza has fought as they know how to, Grbic & Co. have dominated the decisive match and on their 8th year in Serie A1 TIM they gave Trento the Italian title, a city that in the meantime has fallen in love with Stoychev’s team.
A well deserved victory which rewards a season where Itas has only known 6 defeats (5 in the regular season and 1 in the playoffs), becoming the best interpreters of the Italian modern volleyball, made of muscles and great technical-tactical discipline.
MVP of the finals is Bulgarina player Matey Kazyiski, absolute world-beater of the international volleyball and his supporters’ idol.
