Against the Belgium side of Randstad Roeselare, in which there is two ex of the Italian league in Milos Milic and Hendrik Tuerlinckx, coach De Giorgi kept using the turn over, opting for Snippe and Swiderski. Macerata conceded the third set but overall this was a convincing performance.
In the Cev Cup, Cuneo made it through to the next round but it proved harder than expected. Indeed, following the tie-break loss of the first leg against Cannes, Cuneo went to France and replied with a win in the decisive set, forcing a Golden Set, in which they obtained their ticket for the 8th of final. Prandi’s team reacted well in the most delicate moment and avoided a nightmare elimination in the first round.
