As always, we bet a restaurant on it ! It is one of the favourite for the title : they have a top quality group. They will need time to find their balance, but it’s a great team. On our part, we changed a lot, there is great enthusiasm and we’re working very well. The game against Treviso could be a good test for us to understand where we stand : to get to the key moments of the championship at our best, during the season we’ll have to face and beat teams that are given stronger than us. We’ll see on Saturday, we’ll give it our best shot ! “
Ricardo Garcia (Sisley Treviso): “It’s always nice to play in Modena, there is a great atmosphere and a competent and warm crowd that gives a particular sensation. This game is obviously special for me, because I’ll be in a gym where I’ve played in the last four years and I will rediscover this atmosphere with great pleasure. I will obviously receive some stick, some booing, but it won’t be a problem, I’m experienced now after so many years of volleyball around the world and I’m used to play in electric atmospheres. The important thing is that there will be a great game between two excellent teams that will entertain the PalaPanini gym.
SERIE A2 TIM Fourth round
M. ROMA VOLLEY and CODYECO SANTA CROCE LOOKING TO KEEP PERFECT START
In the fourth round of the A2 league, the game between Rome and Santa Croce stands out. These are two of the top teams of this beginning of competition and they will fight it out in what should be a tight encounter to keep their hundred percent record.
The surprising Bologna will face another test against Castellana Grotte, trying to stay top of the league. Three teams will hope for their first success of the season: Castelfidardo, Catania and Goia del Colle who will respectively play away at Canadiens Mantova, Andreoli Latina and Gherardi Cartoedit Tratos Citta di Castello.
Meanwhile, Bassano’s Ronaldo will make its 100th appearance on Sunday against Cavriago. Another interesting match up is the one between Crema and Isernia, two teams who will rely on their character to overcome line up worries. This will also be a special game for Crema’s Alberto Caprotti who will celebrate its 200th game in the Serie A.
