Tenth consecutive victory! Suffered but still a victory…..
Tonno Callipo takes over Spoleto and conquers two very important points after over two intense and emotional hours.
Yesterdays’ match took some suffering but the yellow&red’s determination was rewarded.
The team may have been a bit tired due to the busy schedule of the last month that had Raphael and company climbing the standings, round after round. But in the end, despite the reaction of a battling Spoleto, they were able to recover and turn things around keeping the second place behind Verona.
Middle blocker Rocco Barone at the end of the match: “We knew it would have been hard in Spoleto. In fact we played a match full of emotions where the whole group demonstrated attitude and determination. After the first set played really well and the second and third when we found it a bit difficult while they literally went mad, we were good at fighting and coming back.
Yesterday’s match proved once again that we are all part of the starting six and we are all eager to get promoted. Personally, I will carry on doing my best, day after day, to grow and improve in order to reward the confidence the coach and the club have given me”.
