The day after the defeat against RPA-LuigiBacchi.it, coach Bagnoli analyses the match thinking about the next two challenges against Montichiari and Piacenza which will be decisive for the 2007/08 season.
“With Perugia – he says – we stayed in the match and we deserved to win the first set, despite the problems we have at the moment. The positive thing is that we recovered Platenik, but we still don’t know about Rob Bontje and Giorgio De Togni which make us less competitive with the fast balls and with our blocking.
Our diagonal player has had big problems in attack while on the other side we found an efficiant team in attack from each zone with a great Sintini directing it all”.

“We have two very difficult matches ahead – he carries on – because Montichiari is going for the play offs while Piacenza – coming from a great final in the Champions League – will want to close the Regular Season well in order to get a good place in the grid but especially to get a fourth or fifth place which would guarantee them the access to the European Cups for next year. We will have to play against two highly motivated teams, not only strong”.

The week Antonveneta is facing is therefore decisive in terms of safety also because Taranto, Corigliano and Latina follow them a few points behind.
