3-0 in Rome and 11th consecutive victory in the championship, a record for Grbic & Co

Itas Diatec Trentino defeats M. Roma Volley for 3-0 in the second leg’s 10th round early match, going on 11 consecutive victories in the championship.
This way Stoytchev’s team equals the best positive series ever in the history of Trentino Volley, registered in the 2003/04 season by the team then led by Silvano Prandi on hte bench and Lorenzo Bernardi, Paolo Tofoli and Andrea Sartoretti. An historical achievement in itself.
The match tonight was closed in 3 sets thanks to the solid performance of the team in attack (55%) and blocking (8 in total, 3 by Winiarski), but also the great service performance with 9 aces and extremely important to sign the breaks in the hot moments of the match.
M. Roma Volley paid for their lack of continuity at serving (16 wrong ones) and the on and off performances by Marshall and Coscione.
