Itas Diatec Trentino is back at PalaTrento on sunday against Antonveneta Padova in the last match before the break.
ITAS DIATEC TRENTINO SPEAKING After monday’s victory they want to carry on with their success and remain unbeaten at home.
The tie break victory at PalaLido gave coach Busato some good information: “We are facing two important matches, but we need to think one at the time. With Padova it will be a very complicated match because they are very similar to us with regards to their game, counting mainly on their service, blocking and digging.
We need to face it as if we were playing against Treviso and Roma the strongest teams of the championship, because Padova is playing really well.
We are undergoing a special physical training which will help in the future that is why the team is tired after the match against Milano.
In order to do well against Antonveneta we need to find quality back in our service especially in a tactical way”.
The whole team will be available to play.
THE OPPONENTS Antonveneta is the first surprise of this championship. They started quietly after maaging to save themselves from demotion twice in a raw and they scored 4 consecutive visctories in the first 4 rounds; the following defeats against Treviso and Macerata did not affect their great place in the standings (4th) who proceeded to beat Cuneo 3-0 making them lose their leadership.
This is a team that makes of blocking and serving as their best weapons scoring really well in the performance standings with the 1st and 3rd place.
