A WHOLE AFTERNOON LIVE ON SKY
Huge TV cover by SKY Sport 2 in occasion of Semifinals Game 3 scheduled on the 1st of May: a whole afternoon of great volleyball together with SKY for the Serie A1 TIM.
It will start at 3.40PM with the pre-match of the first Semifinal, live on SKY Sport 2, between M. Roma Volley & Sisley Treviso, comment by Marco Nosotti, Luca Cantagalli, Andrea Zorzi and Luisa Gamberini. At the end of the match link with Milan studios with Eleonora Cottarelli & Andrea Anastasi.
Then, Roberto Prini, Fabio Vullo & Franco Bertoli will comment live from Cuneo the second semifinal between Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo & Copra Berni Piacenza. Interview from the court by Pietro Colnago.

PIACENZA – Piacenza ties the series up at home, by beating for the first time in its history Cuneo at home (3-1).
After the advantage obtained by Cuneo last Wednesday, Game 2 has been played at the PalaBanca of Piacenza. Dall’Olio renounces to Koch, out for a flu. Bovolenta, despite his leg injury, is at the bench. Sergio, that in Game1 had some knee problems, is part of the team. For Cuneo: Lasko has partially recovered his injury, but coach Prandi choose to use Oro, that did play a great game1. During the warming up Marshall receive the award of MVP TIM of the qurters.
Very tight match, even if Copra pays for too many serve errors; Cuneo after the second timeout is ahead (13-16). Piacenza recovers with Simeonov and Marshall (17-18). Server errors for Simeonov of Piacenza and Wijsmans for Cuneo, then Marshall obtain the advantage with a block (21-20). Oro ties the score up, Marshall scores another point using the opponent block (22-21). The teams start to force the serves without big results: Coscione, Grbic, Riad, Marshall & Giba made mistakes. (24-24). The fight is point by point, Piacenza goes ahead with Botti block (29-28). Cuneo goes back in advantage with Riad & Giba. The emotions won’t stop. Simeonov brings Piacenza ahead (31-30) pmce agaom, a ver long point ends with Zlatanov that scores the final point and give the first set to Piacenza (33-31).
Cuneo starts well in the second set thanks to the attacks of Wijsmans (11-14). Piacenza is able to react with an ace of Simeonov and with a winning block of Cozzi (15-15). Cuneo leads the game, but Piacenza does not give up. Simeonov finds a point that keep Piacenza up (21-23), but Omrcen (at the end of the match for hime: 2 aces, 4 points in attack) closes the set with an ace (21-25).
The third set is just like the previous ones, tight and fought. Copra finds the advantage (21-18), built especially with the attacks of Leo Marshall, very good set also for Zlatanov that did play well for the whole match. Not a good performance for Giba, only one point in attack. Ma the set is not over yet; Omrcen (that confirms the performance of the previous set with 5 points) scores an ace. Paolo Cozzi finds the point of 24-20 with a block and Piacenza closes the set (25-20).
In the 4th set Piacenza starts better, ahead 12-10 with two blocks of Paolo Cozzi in a row. Coach Prandi replaces Oro with Lasko, but with bad results. After a Marshall point the opposite made a mistake straight away and Prandi sends Oro back in the court (16-13). Piacenza plays now much better, Giba made a serve error, then points for Simeonov and Zlatanov (elected MVP of the match). Cuneo does not react (21-17). On 23-18 there is space also for Rogerio that replace Paolo Botti. Grbic finds a great block on Giba. And Rogerio closes the match with a block (25-19).
Hristo Zlatanov (Piacenza, Mvp of the match): “I am very happy about the performance, not only because we tie the series up 1-1 but also because by beating Cuneo at home we finally pass the fear of losing against them”.
Silvano Prandi (Coach Cuneo): “We had huge responsabilities about the defeat especailly in the first set, where we did not use at the best our serves”.
