Match 2 will start with M. Roma Volley, Sisley Treviso, Copra Berni Piacenza & Itas Diatec Trentino ahead one match to nil. A victory for them will mean the arrivals to the semifinals, a defeat will send them back to the court during the next weekend.

CUNEO – Bad day for Bre Banca Lannutti, during the debut home match of the playoff quarter finals where it has been beaten by Itas Diatec Trentino.
After the first set that went to the home team with the score of 25-23 and thanks to the good match of Oro (that replaced Lasko), Wijsmans e Omrcen. The situation gets complicated in the second and in the third set when the boys coached by Lattari try a reaction and with Andrè Nascimento, that started a personal duel with Wijsmans, is able to win both sets. The second with the score of 22-25 and the third 20-25.
In the fourth set big reaction of Wijsmans and teammates that goeas ahead since the beginning with an initial break that sends them ahead 6-2. The match goes to the tiebreak. Bre Banca Lannutti goes ahead 12-9, and reach the first match ball with the score of 14-12 but they don’t close the match, Cuneo wastes other three match points and Trento does not forgive it and close the match by winning the tiebreak 20-22.
Mvp of the match is Wout Wijsmans, best scorer with 25 points.

PIACENZA – Copra Berni Piacenza wins the first match of the playoff by beating Modena with the score of 3-0 (25-18; 25-21; 25-19). Modena starts the match without Giani, still injured, replaced by Rak. In the court also new arrival Nalbert. All the players at disposal for Piacenza.
Piacenza in the first set is always ahead and after the second time out the score is 16-11 for Piacenza. Marshall and Simeonov are powerful and precise. The first set goest o Piacenza with the score of 25-18.
In the second set Modena plays without Sartoretti. Copra Berni starts well also in the second set. Bovolenta scores two important blocks. Modena tries to fight back but at the end Piacenza is able to handle the advantage and wins also the second set 25-21.
Also in the third set Piacenza, with 3 consecutive points of Leo Marshall, scores the first break and goes ahead 14-10. Modena does not give up but Piacenza plays too well today. Also the third set goes to Piacenza with the score of 25-19.
