“It is the right time to be on the spotlight. We are refining the automatisms to use in the matches”

fifteen days from the 8th match of the championship and 25 from the start of the regular season, Antonveneta Padova trains hard with almost a complete group. At the moment, Perazzolo and Bontje are playing with their National teams while Esko and Olli will join the Finnish National team soon. These are important times for the other players to show what they can do just like spiker Giovanni Quarti who is enthusiastic about this time: “I know I will repeat what many of my team mates have said but we have had a great start and this has helped the team’s mood and we are all sure we can carry on like that”

Antonveneta is meeting Corilgiano and Milano next, two teams which aim is safety. Is is better to face them or teams who aim higher?
“Given the International engagements it will be easier to play these teams but I am not worried because I believe we can play anyone. I find the challenge with Corigliano very stimulating: we will both want to show we have not lost concentration. That is why it will be exiting from the start”
