Valdo’s team, playing in Mantova on saturday night, is seeking revenge after 3 consecutive defeats
Faithful. Bassano Volley’s president, Florenzo Signor, before the delicate match against Mantova confirms his faith in the team, admitting it was a disappointing start and not exactly what they expected.
“We knew we would have had some initial problems and we would have had a slow start given it is a new team (3/4), however we imagined we would have had a better start.
Problemas need to be solved giving the team and the coach the time to work on them and find the right alchemy which I am sure will come out.
Many other teams with more credentials than us are finding hard too like Veronia, Forli and Vibo Valentia. It is too early to worry now. Manotva is going to be a delicate match but we need to get as many points as possible for our own peace of mind before the november break”.
The match: will be on sat the 27th of october at 20.30, Curtone Palasport.
Mantova won 3-1 in Spoleto last but lost against Verona, Castellan and Pineto previous to that with 3 points in the standings one less than Bassano.
They will try and win with MB’s Modnick and Stefano Speringo who is replacing Robbiati; Benito and Argilagos spikers and libero Zappaterra; diagonal player Szabo will be replaced by Hietanen with Mazzonelli setter instead of Sbrolla (injured).
In the next round a double home match with Loreto on the 1st of November and Castellana on the 4th.
