Itas Diatec Trentino closes the first part of the regular season by winning against Montichiari in four sets. A great result, obtained with a great perfomance in each part of the game, but that unfortunately has not been enogh to garantee the access to the the TIM CUP A1 Final Eight. Three points obtained at the PalaGeorge gave the chance to Trento to pass Perugia and join at the seventh position of the standing Taranto and Latina that keep staying ahead and got the access to the Bassano del Grappa final eight.
It is a shame but that did not cancel what Meoni and teammates showed on the court.
The 3-1 victory against Acqua Paradiso Gabeca Montichiari did not qualify the team to the TIM Cup final eight but it is very useful for keep hoping in one of the eight available spots for the playoff.
Itas Diatec Trentino played a very precise match, with really few errors (only 4 point errorse), attacking with great percentages (55% for the team with Hübner 75% and Nascimento, 58%) and showing a great determination in defense.
