CUNEO-ROMA IS THE 11TH ROUND
BIG MATCH
After the 3 early matches of the 12th round which will be completed on the 26th, Serie A1 TIM is back this week end for the 11th round. It will be a round to follow with special attention because the end of the first leg is near and the points at stake to qualify for the TIM CUP 2008 Final Eight are very precious.
Spotlights on Cuneo super-challenge where Bre Banca Lannutti is hosting M. Roma Volley. Top match with the first of the league who both payed in Europe this week. Considering their journey it is going to be a balanced match. Cuneo always won at home and Roma only lost once away in Padova. Last year Serniotti’s team won 3-0.
Very interesting is the 15th challenge between Itas Diatec Trentino and Copra Nordmeccanica Piacenza (Live on SKY Sport 2), both in good shape. Lorenzettis men won 8 of the previous matches, Trento has not been able to beat Piacenza for 7 matches, the last time in the play offs quarterfinals 2004.
Sparkling Milano – Acqua Paradiso Gabeca Montichiari and Antoveneta Padova – RPA-LuigiBacchi.it Perugia will be fighting to qualify for the TIM Cup. Sisley Treviso is currently on 14 points but they are convinced to get in despite Fei’s absence against Prisma Taranto who is fighting for safety.
After teh good victory in Montichiari, Famigliulo Corigliano is seeking important points on saturday (live on Sky Sport ) against Cimone Modena. Giani’s team will be able to count on libero Pietro Rinaldi after a long break due to an injury. Certain is Denni’s forfait, uncertain for the 26th against Cuneo.
Lube Banca Marche Macerata – Andreoli Latina are closing the programme with Macerata facing a team that, after winning against Taranto, is now back.

THE 13TH ROUND OPENS WITH

13th round, 1st leg for the Serie A2 TIM. Stilcasa Salento d’amare Taviano and SP TTTLines Catania will play on saturday at 20.30.
On sunday away match in S. Croce for leader MArmi Lanza Verona after their 8th consecutive victory. Janic and Olieman on the bench but not playing for sure.
