LEGA VOLLEY – FIPAV MEETIN, COACH ANASTASI PRESENT
Today in Bologna, the men’s Serie A Volleyball League Associates has met. An important meeting where relevant and current topics have been discussed together with FIPAV.
The new Italian National coach Andrea Anastasi has taken part too illustrating his work programme for next season, supplying important indications for growth regarding the whole movement and showing great attention for the Clubs.
The main goal is to create a co-operative and constructive attitude involving coaches, fitness trainers and doctors, both from Serie A Clubs and the national team.
The meeting carried on with the intervention of FIPAV president Carlo Magri together with Renato Arena, CEV Vice President and director.
The agenda included the FIVB project regarding the reduction of foreign players playing in the national championships. Diego Mosna, the Volleyball League president, on behalf of all the clubs, has expressed to the federal president the reasons for not agreeing on the proposal, asking Magri for his support on a national level.
The federal president has listened and reassured everyone present that these were problems he was aware of and that he shares with them, giving his commitment to support the League and its associates.
The League and FIPAV presidents have arranged another meeting which will take place soon in order to agree on the final goals and strategies.
