Sparkling Milano: Sparkling Milano announces the new arrival for season 2006/2007 of setter Riccardo Modica. Riccardo did play this year 5 Serie A2 matches with Cavriago and he has signed a particular contract with Milano.
He will join the group only if Travica or Casagrande (the current two setters) will have problems or injuries and will not be able to train with the rest of the team.
Riccardo Modica was born on the 28th of December 1973 in Palermo and he played with Messaggero Ravenna from 1990 to 1992, in the youth teams while the team coached by Daniele Ricci, was winning Championship and Champions League. In season ’92-’93 played his first Serie A1 season with Padova where he also won the Coppa Cev. In the following seasons he played in Catania, Brescia, Palermo (where he wins again the Coppa Cev), Montichiari (A1), Gioia del Colle. In 2002 arrives in Loreto, where he played for 3 season. Last year he played in Serie B1 in Squinzano.
