Sparkling Milano: The first new face of Sparkling Milano for season 2007/2008 belongs to french spiker, 197cm tall, Guillaume Samica, part of the French National team with which he conquered the final of the last World League edition and also played very well at the recent Worldchampionship held in Japan last year. Born in Compiegne – France on the 28th of Sept 1981, Samica played for the first time in the italian championship in season 2002/2003, with Canadiens Verona, the next year he went to Trieste, while in 2004-2005 he played with Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo. In the last two seasons Samica played in France with Stade Poitevin.
He is currently in Florence with his national team, where tonight will face the Italian national team for the first World League challenge.
