Corigliano wins 3-1 in the first match of the finals in a PalaCorigliano sold out. Very tight match, with 3 sets that have been closed only at the very end in a very exciting fight. Codyeco never gave up and kept up with Corigliano until the very end, despite some errors that at the end became crucials. The home team won especially thanks to a very high level performance, serving really well, with a lot of aces that ended up by confusing the team coached by Valdo. Young spiker Parodi, the best of the match, is the carrier of the team together with De Marchi. The two players keeps the Santa Croce hopes alive for the whole match. But Giuliani’s boys, at the end of the third set, seem to relax a little, the Wolves hit very hardly, and opens back a match that did seem over already.
Torre and teammates, thanks to a refound Fabbiani, fight until the very end and never let Corigliano escapes, until the very end. The fourth set goes eventually to Corigliano with the score of 28-26. Rematch next Monday at 8.30PM at the PalaParenti.
