History hasn’t a price. History is made by years and people. Last Sunday into Padova hall all players, coaches and managers who have played in Padova since 1953 came for an amarcord meeting. The youngest was Luca Cibin, 20 years old, the oldest Nereo Baliello, 75 years old: “We are the flower of Italian volleyball – Baliello said (he started with the first team of Padova in 1953) -. We never had big money but we discovered great champions like Brera, Donato, Tofoli, Bernardi, Martinelli, Pasinato, Bertoli, Meoni, Morsut and Fei. The greatest? Ambroziak: it has been hard to carry him to Italy in 1972.”
