No breaks for beginning of the season serie A1 TIM. It’s back on court in Trentoino on sunday against Acqua Paradiso Gabeca Montichiari.
The first few ponits obtained give us a bit of serenity to face Montichiari, Perugia and Corigliano in the next ten days. Lots of work to do still.
“Against Modena we played a good match – says Libero Andrea Bari – but we won an important match, which is what counts. We need to improve still given it is the beginning of season and the team is not quite together yet. In order to give Montichiari a hard time we need to take a step ahead in the game”.
The whole formation is available to play for coach Stoychev
It’s increasing the feeling between Grbic and friends aloowing him un umpredictable game.
THE OPPONENTS Two victories and 6 points for Acqua Paradiso Gabeca Montichiari so far against LAtina and Sisley Treviso giving the team a state of grace for the moment.
The Club has changes its formation quite a lot from last year providing a higher level that will probably grow in time (see Ananiev and De Cecco, young players and established Howard).
In the past two matches De Cecco played rather than Ahmed, ex Treviso.
Popp and Veres took over from Meszaros who left for Russia. But Acqua Paradiso Gabeca counts on Gavotto as being their certainty after 4 seasons with the club being one of the best blockers around. Andrea Sala will be playing too.
“Montichiari is probably the team in the best shape so far -says Bari- also because they have been able to train almost with all their players for longer than other formations. The result will not be an easy one”.
