Taranto starts with the sam players of the Cuneo match, with Anderson opposite; Latina starts with Fortunato-Bjelica middleblockers. Big start for Taranto with the score that goes 5-1. Maggiora slowly recovers and goes ahead 9-10 first and 12-14 after with a Zanuto ace. Taranto is in trouble and Latina flies 14-19 and then closes the set in its favour.
Good start for Prisma also in the second set. This time Taranto is able to keep the advantage. Coach Di Pinto replaces Castellano with Patriarca. Score at the second time out is 16-12 for Taranto. Granvorka aces help Taranto to close the set.
Third set goes pretty much like the second. Good start for Taranto (10-7), Latina tries to recover (10-9) but Taranto keep up the good game and flies to 16-13. Latina does not give up (18-17) but Vicini’s defense, De Palma serves and Andersons attacks give the set to Taranto.
Prisma seems to have the victory in its hands but Latina played a great fourth set and wins it 20-25
In the tiebreak Latina scored the crucial break that give the 7-11 lead that will stay until the end of the set. Latina wins and Prisma loses for the first time in the home arena.
