A complete victory, with the arena crowded as never before (5.492 spectators) and the italian champions from Treviso defeated with a round 3-0.
Bernardi said: “It is with no doubt a very important victory; of course defeating the champions for 3-0 gives us full awareness of our means and very important scores. Such a victory, in front of 5.500 people, makes the result even more important. I hope some of them were even there to see Verona, and not just for Treviso.
Bernardi was yesterday one of the best: “These are the right balances that should be created in a team: in team games everyone’s potential is maximized”.
And the team really gave us an excellent example of good team game, which is a sign of how fit they all are: “I think since the new athletic trainer came -Bernardi goes on- all teams are envying our form. Physical problems have always been controlled so that they couldn’t become real troubles, and the game level improved therefore”.
