Great start for Prisma Taranto. Vincenzo Di Pinto boys won 3-2 at the Palatrento.
THE MATCH – The beginning of the match is very tight: 4-3 for Taranto then 7-7. Then Taranto goes ahead 11-10 first and 16-14 at the second time out. But Trento fights back with some winning blocks and goes ahead 22-21. At the end the set goes to Trentofor 27-25.
Good start for Taranto in the second set but Trento doesn’t give up. 8-7 for Taranto at the first time out and 16-14 in the second. This time Taranto keeps staying on front: 19-16, 22-19 until the end of the set closed in its favour.
Another great start for Taranto in the thrid set: 8-7, 12-10 and 16-12 at the second time out. The advantage keeps going: 20-14 and the final result is 25-16 for Taranto.
Also in the fourth set is Taranto that goes ahead: 8-7 at the first time out. But Trento fights back and doesn’t give up: 11-11, 14-14 but Taranto is ahead 16-14 at the second time out. Trento is there: 18-18 and even if Taranto goes ahead 22-20, Trento scores five consecutive points and take the match to the tiebreak.
Taranto goes at front in the beginning: 3-2, 5-3, 8-6 and 10-8. Trento fights back and reach only one point distance 11-10 but Taranto scores the last three points and a Granvorka ace gives the victory to Taranto.

– “We played a very good match and confirmed the good things seen at the Lamezia Terme tournament. Godd defense and serving helped us to reach the victory. We could have won in 4 set but it is always a victory. We will have to fight in every single game this year. All the matces will be hard. We have sill a lot of work to do.”
