Acqua Paradiso Gabeca Montichiari: Last Sunday Montichiari beated 3-2 in a very tight match Codyeco S. Croce. Besides the match it is important to point out a very bad episode not usual in the volleyball world.
Codyeco S.Croce supporters and managment accused Montichiari (with no goal at this point of the season) of not letting S. Croce (trying to avoid relegation) win. This polemic ended with supporters throwing stones at the Montichiari bus while they were leaving.
Coach Simoni said “if I was them I would be ashamed of myself. They have been irrationals, exagerated and dangerous. They should at least apologize, not only with us, but with the whole volleyball world, especially president Rovini, the first one among the supporters to insult us at the end of the match.”
